Background:
 
Reason for Recommendation:  The Board is being asked to approve the El Dorado County Health Plan Advisory Committee's amended By-Laws.  The amendments consist of format changes, removal of appeal language, clarification of alternate designees  and additional clarification of general text pertaining to the By-Laws.  The changes proposed by the Health Plan Advisory Committee were reviewed by County Counsel.  The amended By-Laws were adopted unanimously by the Health Plan Advisory Committee and presented to El Dorado County Bargaining Units for review.  No objections were brought forward by the Bargaining Units regarding the proposed changes to the El Dorado County Health Plan Advisory Committee's amended By-Laws.
 
Action to be taken following Board approval:  Human Resources, Risk Management Division to implement the amended By-Laws for the El Dorado County Health Plan Advisory Committee.
