Supervisor Santiago recommending the Board adopt a Resolution 053-2013 approving road restrictions around Lake Tahoe and between Tahoe City and South Lake Tahoe, from approximately 6:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on State Highway 89 for the month of September 2013 through 2018, for the Lake Tahoe Marathon, 3-day triathlon, and a 3-day triple marathon events.

Pursuant to the California Department of Transportation requirements, local jurisdiction must acknowledge by resolution restrictions to normal traffic flow on state routes and highways during special events such as the Lake Tahoe Marathon. Law enforcement will be in attendance to assist.
