Title: Probation Department in collaboration with the El Dorado Community Corrections Partnership, recommending the Board approve and authorize the following: 1) Approve and authorize the Chair to sign Funding Agreement 534-F1711 with Community Recovery Resources in the amount of $20,000 for the grant period of August 1, 2016 through June 30, 2018 as part of the Community Recidivism Reduction Grant as specified in Penal Code 1233.10; and 2) Authorize the Purchasing Agent, or designee, to execute further documents relating to Funding Agreement 534-F1711, including amendments which do not increase the maximum dollar amount or term of the Agreement, contingent upon approval by County Counsel and Risk Management. DEPARTMENT RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended the Board approve and authorize the Chair to sign Funding Agreement #534-F1711 with Community Recovery Resources in the amount of $20,000 for the grant period of August 1, 2016 through June 30, 2018.

County has appropriated funding to three Community Based Organizations (Progress House, New Morning Youth and Family Services, and Community Recovery Resources) for the purpose of supporting recidivism and crime reduction activities or services for the communities of El Dorado County. The Board of Supervisors awarded the Request for Proposal No. 16-990-069 to New Morning Youth & Family Services, Inc. on October 25, 2016 via Board Item No. 16-0988.

During the preparation of the three individual contracts after receiving Board approval on October 25, 2016, it was determined that the Community Based Organizations would need funding agreements as opposed to service level agreements which were already initiated (and one fully executed) by the Department.
