DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
The current outdoor break and meeting area at the Ponderosa Building for Child Support Services (CSS) is now a busy public entrance to Elections. CSS would like to add a new outdoor break and meeting area at the rear of the building using State and Federal Child Support Funds. Facilities submitted a quote of $36,000 and they will be doing the work. Funds for the project will be provided through a Budget Transfer using salary savings and transferring the funds to the Accumulative Capital Outlay fund.
ALTERNATIVES
The Board could choose not to approve the project and staff would not have a semiprivate Outdoor Break and Meeting area any longer.
