DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
On February 27, 2024, the Board appointed Ms. Coolidge to the role of Child Care and Development Provider. The Clerk's office was notified by staff from Early Learning and Family Support that the appointment role should have been Community Representative. This item is to correct the original appointment designation.
A Notice of Vacancy was posted on June 22, 2023. The El Dorado County Early Care and Education Planning Council met and decided to appoint Molly Coolidge to the El Dorado County Early Care and Education Planning Council for the Child Care and Development Provider vacancy. The Council then made a recommendation to the Board of Supervisors to move forward with this appointment.
