DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
El Dorado County Code of Ordinances, Title 2 - Administration and Personnel, Chapter 2.20 - County Boards, Committees, and Commissions, Article X. Parks and Recreation Commission, Section 690 - Officers, says, "At the first meeting of the Parks and Recreation Commission held after March 1 in each calendar year, the Parks and Recreation Commission shall elect from its regular members a Chair and a Vice-Chair, who shall hold office for a term of one year and until the election of their successors. The officers and employees of the County Parks and Recreation Division shall not be eligible to hold office on the Parks and Recreation Commission."
