Fiscal Impact/Change to Net County Cost: There will be no net county cost as the department anticipates utilizing these funds as carry-over in the current fiscal year.

Background: Per Department of Insurance guidelines both the Automobile Insurance Fraud and Workers Compensation Insurance Fraud programs are required to have an annual audit. During fiscal year 2009/10 an audit finding was found in both programs recommending the return of funds from the general fund back to the special revenue accounts.

Reason for Recommendation:  This recommendation is necessary for program compliance.

Action to be taken following Board approval: Budget transfer to be signed by Board Chair and fowarded to the Auditors office for posting.
