Fiscal Impact/Change to Net County Cost: Funding is included in the fiscal year 2010-11 Fleet Operations Fund and will be included in future budgets covered by the term of this Agreement. There is no change to Net County Cost.

Reason for Recommendation: Under the proposed Agreement, Five Star Automotive, will furnish materials, supplies, parts, equipment, personnel, subcontractors and services necessary to provide automotive repair and maintenance services for County fleet vehicles in the South Lake Tahoe basin. Details of the work will include preventive maintenance; tune-ups; engine overhauls; smog inspections; windshield and glass repairs or replacements; tire mounting, installation, balancing, studding and repairs; alignments; minor body repairs; and maintenance and repair of brakes, air conditioning systems, electrical systems, suspension systems, engine cooling systems, transmissions and clutches.
