Clerk of the Board recommending the Board consider the following regarding the Sacramento-Placerville Transportation Corridor Joint Powers Authority:
1) Appoint Supervisor Knight as the Representative; and
2) Appoint Supervisor Nutting as the Alternate. (Cont'd 4/5/11, Item 20)

On April 5, 2011 the Board accepted Supervisor Sweeney's resignation as the representative of the Board of Supervisors of the County of El Dorado to the Sacramento-Placerville Transportation Corridor Joint Powers Authority.
Based on the motion made under Item #2 on March 28, 2011, I do not believe I understand or believe in the action of our Board. Further, I do not believe that I could therefore represent the wishes of our Board as expressed through said motion.
The Board should use this opportunity to appoint a replacement and an alternate representative.
