Sheriff's Office, in conjunction with the Probation Department, recommending the Board authorize the Chair to sign Amendment I to Agreement 265-S1111, amending Exhibit A to include the El Dorado County Juvenile Treatment Center in the Billable Labor Rates/Emergency Response sections of the exhibit.

FISCAL IMPACT/CHANGE TO NET COUNTY COST: None. This amendment does not change the fiscal obligation to the County, and funding for the contract costs is budgeted in the Sheriff's Department and Probation Department's Fiscal Year 2011/12 budget.
REASON FOR RECOMMENDATION: On March 1, 2011, your Board approved a recommendation from the Sheriff's Office and Probation Department to enter into an agreement with Tri-Signal Integration, Inc. to conduct annual fire/life safety test and inspections, as well as annual testing and inspections of the Closed Circuit Television TV Video Surveillance, Intercom and Electronic Door Control systems, for a period of 3 years and a total maximum obligation of $95,000.
The Sheriff's Office and Probation Department are asking your Board to approve this amendment to Exhibit A in order to clarify that services will be provided to the El Dorado County Jail and/or the El Dorado County Juvenile Treatment Center.
ACTION TO BE TAKEN FOLLOWING APPROVAL: Following Board approval, the Chair will sign the contract amendment with Tri-Signal Integration and copies will be distributed to the Sheriff's Department, Probation Department and Tri-Signal Integration.
