Fiscal Impact/Change to Net County Cost:
There are no fees or assessments relative to these Easements. There is no fiscal impact or net cost to the County General Fund associated with this agenda item.

Reason for Recommendation:
The Department of Transportation (Department) will begin construction as early as May 1, 2013 on the Sawmill 2B Bike Path and Erosion Control Project (Project). The purpose of the Easements is to utilize three (3) California Tahoe Conservancy (CTC) owned parcels (Assessor's Parcel Numbers 033-100-15, 033-180-06 and 033-180-21) for the purpose of constructing drainage improvements, a class 1 bike path, a fence, and signage in order to meet the Tahoe Regional Planning Agency’s transportation, recreation and water quality goals.

Action to be taken following Board approval:
1. The Clerk of the Board will obtain the Chair’s signature on each of the three (3) originals of the Grant of Easement Agreements and Certificates of Acceptance.
2. The Clerk of the Board will complete the All Purpose Notary Acknowledgements provided for the three (3) Easement Agreements and forward to the Recorder/Clerk's office for recordation.
3. The Clerk of the Board will send one fully executed copy of each of the three (3) Grant of Easement Agreements, the Certificates of Acceptance, and the All Purpose Notary Acknowledgements to the Department.

Action to be taken by Department following Board approval:
1. Upon receipt of each fully executed copy of the Easement Agreements and Certificates of Acceptance and All Purpose Notary Acknowledgements from the Clerk of the Board, the Department will forward ...
