Funding for this portion of the acquisition process will be provided by 2004 General Plan Traffic Impact Mitigation Fees.

Background:
The Department of Transportation (Department) is currently in the design phase for the Pleasant Valley Road (SR 49)/Patterson Drive Intersection Signalization Project (Project) to signalize the intersection, including channelization and construction of associated improvements.

On June 30, 2009, the Board adopted the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Mitigated Negative Declaration and the Mitigation Monitoring and Reporting Program and authorized staff to proceed with the acquisition process for portions of seven parcels.

Reason for Recommendation:
