Fiscal Impact/Change to Net County Cost
No Net County Cost

Background
On July 17, 2012, the Board adopted Resolution 094-2012 authorizing Sheriff's Office staff to execute grant applications and other related documents to obtain grant funding.  That resolution named the Administrative Services Officer as authorized to sign grant documents.  However, since that time, the position of Administrative Services Officer has been deleted from the Sheriff's Personnel Allocations.  This updated Resolution is to add the new Chief Fiscal Officer and Undersheriff to the authorized list, and remove the Administrative Services Officer.

Reason for Recommendation
Adoption of this Resolution will allow the Sheriff's Office to update a Resolution with which to apply for grant funds from the Federal government subgranted through the State of California.

Action(s) to be taken following Board approval
Signed Resolution will be submitted to the Governor's Office of Emergency Services (Cal OES).
