Background
The 2013 Georgetown "Safe Halloween" Event, sponsored by the Georgetown Divide Recreation District, is an annual event providing a safe designated area for "Trick or Treat" activities.  The requested road closures are for the safety of the participants, volunteers and children during the event.
 
Reason for Recommendation
The Transportation Division is recommending Board approval of the closure to allow for the safety and success of this community event.  Other involved agencies have made no objections to this closure.
 
Action(s) to be taken following Board approval
1. The Clerk of the Board to obtain the Chair's signature on the Resolution.
2. The Clerk of the Board to send one fully executed copy of the Resolution to the Transportation Division.
3. The roads listed in the Resolution will be closed from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 31, 2013, for the 2013 Georgetown "Safe Halloween" Event.
