Title: Health and Human Services Agency, Community Services Division, recommending the Board consider the following: 1) Authorize the Chair to sign Amendment III to Agreement for Services 363-S1110 with Conforti Plumbing, Inc. for the continued provision of plumbing system repair and replacement services by increasing the maximum compensation amount by $30,000 to a maximum not-to-exceed compensation of $90,318 for the current term that ends April 13, 2014; and 2) Authorize the Purchasing Agent or designee to execute further documents relating to Agreement for Services 363-S1110, including amendments thereto, contingent upon approval by County Counsel and Risk Management, which do not affect the maximum dollar amount or the term of the Agreement. FUNDING: 100% funded through Federal Grant Funding (Department of Energy Weatherization Assistance Program [“DOE WAP”] and Low-income Home Energy Assistance Program [“LIHEAP”]).

Fiscal Impact/Change to Net County Cost
There is no Net County Cost associated with Amendment III to Agreement for Services 363-S1110. The grant allocation of federal funds covers all costs associated with provision of DOE WAP and LIHEAP services and sufficient appropriations are included in the Fiscal Year 2013-14 budget. The County of El Dorado has received this grant allocation since the early 1980’s and expects this revenue source to continue.
