Fiscal Impact/Change to Net County Cost
The cost of this proposed action is $500. This cost is related to the abandonment of an existing easement by AT&T. Payment for this proposed action will come from the construction management budget established in the CIP for the U.S. 50/Missouri Flat Road Interchange Improvements - Phase 1B Project (Project). There are no costs related to the establishment of the new easements.

Background
In 2009, the Board of Supervisors adopted Resolution 079-2009, which established a road easement and public utility easements in advance of the construction phase of the as part of U.S. 50/Missouri Flat Road Interchange Improvements - Phase 1B Project (Project). The easements were to be located on property that was purchased by the County in order to allow for the Project’s construction phase.

Reason for Recommendation
After Resolution 079-2009 was adopted by the Board, a bicycle lane and drainage ditch were added to the Project along Perks Court. The Project then went out to bid, and during construction, changes were made to the planned locations of Perks Court and the adjacent bicycle path and drainag...
