The Board of Supervisors would like to extend their appreciation to approximately 600 fire agencies, hundreds of volunteers, businesses and community groups, non-profits and community based organizations, with a special thank you to El Dorado County Departments and staff, Reverend Craig Klatt and the Seventh Day Adventist Church, Resource Conservation District, The University of California Cooperative Extension, the American Red Cross, Cal Fire, the Eldorado National Forest and US Forest Service, the Sheriff's Department, Chief Administration Office, Health and Human Services Agency, County Assessor, Surveyor, County Counsel, Environmental Managment, Animal Services, Air Quality Management, Community Development Agency, Agriculture Department, Fairgrounds, Chambers of Commerce, and for all those not specifically mentioned, who like many, served as the unsung heroes helping in times of crisis.  
 
In these events, strength in our El Dorado County communities was proven, demonstrating the best that we have and the potential we can create.
