Title
District Attorney's Office in partnership with the El Dorado County Health and Human Services Agency recommending the Board consider the following:
1) Approve Memorandum of Understanding 345-M1511; and
2) Adopt Resolution 052-2015 amending the authorized Personnel Resolution to add 1 FTE Investigator - DA.

FUNDING: Federal, State and Local Funding.
Body
District Attorney's Office, in partnership with the El Dorado County Health and Human Services Agency, recommends the Board approve and authorize the Chair to sign the following:
1) Memorandum of Understanding No. 345-M1511, with a maximum contractual obligation under this MOU not exceeding $1,428,000 for all stated services during the term of the MOU. The District Attorney shall provide two full-time equivalent (FTE) Investigators to conduct the investigation of suspected or potential fraud against the CalWORKs program, CalWORKs-related programs, CalFresh, CMSP, or other public assistance programs effective upon approval by the Board of Supervisors. In addition, the District Attorney will provide prosecution functions and, on an as-needed basis, the support of a Legal Secretary.
Fiscal Impact/Change to Net County Cost: There will be no impact to net county cost for either department. The Health and Human Services Agency receives federal, state, and local funding for the implementation of a program for the investigation and management of prosecution of individuals who commit crimes against CalWORKs, CalFresh, CMSP, and other public assistance programs, in accordance with Welfare and Institutions Code ยง 10980.
Background: The District Attorney's Office has for the past several years worked with the Health and Human Services Agency under MOU No. 002-M1210 and has, pursuant to that MOU, provided one FTE Investigator for the investigation of suspected or potential fraud against the CalWORKs program, CalWORKs-related programs, CalFresh, CMSP, or other public assistance programs.
