April 13, 2016 was the deadline for proposal submission for the RFP #16-990-056. One proposal was received and one proposal was received late and rejected. The Evaluation Team reviewed the proposal and it was felt there was not enough information in the proposal to truly evaluate the impact of the proposed programs to El Dorado County clients and the community. April 29, 2016, El Dorado County Procurement & Contract division, gave notice that the RFP for Community Recidivism and Crime Reduction Services in accordance with RFP #16-990-056 has been cancelled in its entirety. And a new RFP will be issued shortly.
Probation has met with Procurement & Contracts on the reissuing of the RFP. Probation will be updating the RFP language and revising the timeline. Proposed new RFP release is slated for the week of May 20, 2016.
The Evaluation Team will remain the same for the new RFP submissions: David Publicover (EDCOE), Jackie Noren (EDCSO), Kristin Brinks (HHSA), Andrew Craven (PRB), and Jackie Davenport (CRT).
