Background:

Reason for Recommendation:
Public utilities easements, as shown on Fairchild Village Unit No. 1 final map and recorded in Book H of Subdivision Maps at Page 17, were irrevocably offered in perpetuity to the County of El Dorado in February of 1990, and accepted by the Board of Supervisors in May of 1990.

An application has been submitted by Eric Martorana and Christine D. Martorana, owners of Lot 22, requesting that the County of El Dorado Board of Supervisors vacate a public utilities easement located on the rear boundary line, identified as Assessor’s Parcel Number 125-675-07. Said easement is more particularly described in Exhibit “A” and depicted in Exhibit “B” of the attached Resolution.

The subject property is located on Winlock Way, west of Silva Valley Parkway and east of El Dorado Hills Boulevard, in El Dorado Hills. Said action is necessary to accommodate construction of a swimming pool on the subject lot.

All utility companies that could be impacted by this vacation have provided the Department of Transportation with written notification that they have no facilities within the subject area and have no objection to the proposed abandonment.
