Background:

Reason for Recommendation: This position was allocated as a Disease Investigator. The proposed title has been revised to more accurately capture the focus of the position. The position is recommended to be allocated at a I/II level to assist with recruitment efforts. The salary for Disease Investigation and Control Specialist II is linked to the Health Education Coordinator classification.

Action to be taken following Board approval: The Human Resources Department will ensure the approved job specification and salary range are added to the County's website.
