RECOMMENDED ACTION:  Approve.

Reason for Recommendation:  At the request of the General Services Department, Fleet Management Division, the Purchasing Agent is presenting to your Board a list of vehicles that are now surplus to the needs of the County as they have been replaced with new vehicles, are in fair to poor condition or have been totaled.  Upon declaration by your Board that the vehicles are surplus, the County Purchasing Agent will dispose of the vehicles in accordance with the Purchasing Ordinance as noted in Section 3.12.210 thereof.
 
Fiscal Impact:  Auctioneer will retain commissions as established per Agreement # 510-S0711; net proceeds of sale will be deposited into 145320, Fleet Fund.
 
Action to be taken following approval:  Upon approval of the recommendation, the Purchasing Agent shall dispose of said property.
