Reason for Recommendation:
The Contract for the Cameron Park Drive/Oxford Road Intersection Signalization Project (Project) on Cameron Park Drive and Oxford Road in the Cameron Park area was executed by the Board on June 26, 2007. Construction was completed on January 15, 2008.

The Board actions above will start legal time frames for guarantees, a lien period, and return of retention monies. Consultant acceptance of the final Contract cost is attached and summarized below:

Original Bid Price $ 891,607.00
Construction Contract Item Cost $ 930,090.81
Contract Change Orders $ 52,997.11
Final Cost of Construction $ 983,087.92

Major Contract Change Orders on this Project dealt with traffic control, dust control, water pollution control, lowering an existing cable television conduit, and modifications to the traffic signal and lighting system.

Action to be taken following Board approval:
1) The Chairman will sign the Notice of Completion.
2) The Board Clerk will send the Notice of Completion to the Recorder/Clerk's Office for recordation and forward a copy of the recorded Notice of Completion to the Department.
