SACPA increased by $8,772; OTP increased by $1,264.  There is no net County cost.

Background:  El Dorado County receives an annual allocation of SACPA and OTP funding from the State to provide alcohol and other drug treatment services.  In Fiscal Year 2007-08, several counties throughout the state did not spend their entire allocation.  The State re-allocated those unused funds, of which El Dorado County received a portion.

Reason for Recommendation:  Additional drug and alcohol treatment and counseling services can be provided using these additional funds.

Action to be taken following Board approval:  Chairman to sign the attached Budget Transfer Request; Board Clerk to forward Budget Transfer to Auditor's office for posting.
