Reason for Recommendation: On September 12, 2006, the Board adopted a revised purchasing ordinance and procurement policy. As a result of increased delegated signature authority for the Purchasing Agent, Board of Supervisors Policy C-17 requires the Purchasing Agent to submit to the Board a report of procurement and contracting activity not less than quarterly.
