There will be no General Fund or Zone of Benefit fiscal impact associated with the recommended appointments.
Background: Georgetown Cemeteries are in a Zone of Benefit. Committee members, appointed by the Board of Supervisors, make operational and maintenance recommendations on cemeteries located within the Zone of Benefit.
Reason for Recommendation: Georgetown Cemetery Zone of Benefit Advisory Committee notice of vacancy posted as required. The individuals identified have volunteered to serve in this capacity. Staff recommends that the Board appoint identified individuals to serve on the Georgetown Cemetery Zone Advisory Committee for the term of two years commencing upon Board approval.
Action to be taken following Board approval: Facilities and Fleet Services staff will notify the individuals of their appointment by the Board to serve on the committee. An informational packet on Brown Act Requirements will be provided to each committee member.
