Title: Facilities and Fleet Services Department recommending Chairman be authorized to sign Amendment I to Lease Agreement 109-L0411 with Robert Earl Olson and Martha Waddell Olson in the amount of $1,428.81 per month commencing September 1, 2008 to convert the existing lease to a month to month tenancy contract for office space located at 415 Placerville Drive, Suite S & T, in Placerville for the Public Health Department. Funding for the lease is included in the Public Health Department's FY 2008-09 budget.
 
Background: The Public Health Department has occupied various office spaces at 415 Placerville Drive, in Placerville, for over 10 years.  The space identified under this lease consists of 1320 square feet at a cost of $1.08 per square foot.
 
Reason for Recommendation:  The Department is currently reviewing options to better utilize this space which could result in an overall reduction in the area needed to provide services to the community and has requested Facilities and Fleet Services convert the existing lease for the Alcohol and Drug Program space to a month to month tenancy contract.  
 
Action to be taken following Board approval:  Board clerk will forward to Facilities and Fleet Services a fully executed original copy of Lease Agreement 109-L0411  for distribution.
