Recorder-Clerk/Registrar of Voters recommending the Board declare the results of votes cast for the special mailed ballot election held July 15, 2008 for Many Oaks Lane Zone of Benefit No. 98132; Mortara Circle Community Services District; and Golden West Community Services District.

Fiscal Impact/Change to Net County Cost: The districts will be billed individual costs for the election held. The Recorder-Clerk-Registrar of Voters will be reimbursed by said districts.
Background: The results of the votes cast at the special mailed ballot election held July 15, 2008, were certified by the Recorder-Clerk-Registrar of Voters on July 16, 2008, and are submitted herewith for your approval. Summary of results: Mortara Circle Community Services District Measure D passed; Golden West Community Services District Measure C did not pass; and Many Oaks Lane Zone of Benefit #98132 Measure B did not pass.
Reason for Recommendation: Elections Code section 15400 states that the governing Board shall declare the results of each election held under its jurisdiction.
Action to be taken following Board approval: Recorder-Clerk-Registrar of Voters will receive and file.
