Fiscal Impact/Change to Net County Cost: None - incoming funding. This funding increase was included in the Department's mid-year budget adjustment.
Background: The original contract from First 5 El Dorado Children and Families Commission to El Dorado County occurred in FY 2004-05. Subsequent contracts have been granted to provide continued funding to assist families with access to health insurance and health services for children ages 0-5 years.
Reason for Recommendation: The services provided by this contract are consistent with the Health Access priority in the First 5 El Dorado Children and Families Commission's 2006-2011 strategic plan.
Action to be taken following Board approval:
1. Board Chairman to sign three (3) Amendments I to Agreement #0809-90050-61-930.
2. Board Clerk's Office to return all three (3) Amendments I to Health Services Department.
3. Department to obtain final signatures.
4. Department to return one (1) fully executed Amendment I to the Board Clerk's Office.
