RECOMMENDATION
Chief Administrative Office, Parks Division recommending the Board approve the attached budget transfer increasing fixed assets by $12,400, increase revenues and operating transfers by $2,500 from the State OHV funds, and decrease equipment rental by $9,900 for the purchase of tracks for the Rubicon All Terrain Vehicle and E-motorcycles for the patrol of the El Dorado Trail/Sacramento Placerville Transportation Corridor.

DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
The Parks Division received a grant from State Parks Off-Highway Motor Vehicle Division effective 9/1/2016. Included in this grant was an All-Terrain Vehicle (Razor) to conduct winter inspections. We have obtained the Vehicle but not the tracks that are needed for over the snow travel. The additional appropriations are to purchase the tracks and the grant has been re-scoped to accommodate the additional funding needed. Funds are being shifted out of equipment rental to fixed assets to cover the cost of the tracks.

The Parks Division received a grant from El Dorado County Air Quality Management District in FY 15/16 in the amount of $30,000. This grant was to obtain two E-Motorcycles for the Sheriff's Office to patrol the El Dorado Trail/Sacramento Placerville Transportation Corridor. The motorcycles bids total $32,462.82.
