DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND

Surveyor's Office received an application from James and Sheryl Haar, owners of the, 2003 James K. Haar and Sheryl K. Haar Trust, for Road Right of Way and Public Utility Easement on Assessor’s Parcel Number  09-260-37, and being more particularly described in Exhibit A and depicted on Exhibit B attached. This IOD is requested in order to meet a condition of P 09-005, imposed by Community Development Agency, Transportation Division.

 

ALTERNATIVES

An alternative would be to not accept the IOD. By utilizing this alternative, James and Sheryl Haar would be unable to meet the conditions of their current project, P 09-005.

 

OTHER DEPARTMENT / AGENCY INVOLVEMENT

The Community Development Agency, Transportation Division, has reviewed said IOD and supports; the consent to and recordation of this offer, the rejection of the Road Right of Way, and the acceptance of the PUE.

 

CAO RECOMMENDATION

It is recommended that the Board approve this item.

 

FINANCIAL IMPACT

There is no fiscal impact or Net County Cost associated with this item.

 

CLERK OF THE BOARD FOLLOW UP ACTIONS

1) The Clerk will obtain the Chair’s signature on the Consent To Offer Of Dedication.
2) The Clerk will return the unrecorded IOD with the Consent  to the County Surveyor’s Office who will have it recorded with the final map for P 09-0005
