DEPARTMENT RECOMMENDATION
The Registrar of Voters is the election Official for local jurisdictions within the County. The Elections Department can handle the consolidation of the jurisdictions' contest on the Consolidated Districts Election ballot.
DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
Pursuant to Elections Code Sections 10400 et seq., the consolidation of two or more elections may be called on the same day, upon the order of the governing body calling the elections. The Registrar of Voters has received resolutions from the jurisdictions named in the resolution for consolidation with the Consolidated Districts Election to be conducted by the El Dorado County Registrar of Voters on November 7, 2017.
