Library Department recommending the Board consider the following:
1) Approve Agreement 131-S1810 with OCLC for ongoing online cataloging services for a perpetual term with an estimated annual obligation of $10,000;
2) Authorize the Purchasing Agent, or designee, to sign Agreement 131-S1810; and
3) Authorize the Purchasing Agent, or designee, to execute further documents relating to Agreement 131-S1810, including future amendments which do not increase the maximum dollar amount or term of the Agreement, and contingent upon approval by County Counsel and Risk Management.

DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
OCLC provides the Library with online cataloging and interlibrary loan services. The Library uses OCLC to download bibliographic records for the library database, and to borrow and lend materials from other libraries.
Library Department is requesting Board approval of this agreement pursuant to County of El Dorado Board of Supervisors Policy Number C-17, "Procurement Policy" Section 4.5 which requires that departments obtain authorization from the Board of Supervisors, initially, and on an annual basis, to utilize any contract that does not have a stated contract term.
