Body

The Lake Tahoe Bicycle Coalition (LTBC) is a member-supported nonprofit organization with a mission to help Tahoe become more bicycle friendly. They promote opportunities for more people to ride bikes in Tahoe and produce the well-known Lake Tahoe Bikeways Map.

The map is a go-to resource for locals and visitors, and is distributed region-wide and throughout Northern California and Nevada. Local and regional governments and agencies, commonly fund bike maps because they highlight the outstanding facilities we build and maintain. Additionally, bike maps attract users helping to shift people out of their cars and onto their bikes. New bicycle facilities are being built each year, making Tahoe a safer place for families, residents, and visitors. LTBC strives to regularly redesign and update the map to provide the most up-to-date information to new users. The map will be completely updated, making it easier to use, travel with, and display.
