Installation of the STOP signs on Silva Valley Parkway is estimated at $600.00 and is available in the Department of Transportations Road Maintenance Budget funded by the Road Fund.

Reason for Recommendation:  

 

To sanction the revision to Resolution No. 245-81, which establishes intersection stops pursuant to Section 10.08.010, of the El Dorado County Ordinance Code, as approved by the Traffic Advisory Committee on the West Slope, August 15, 2007.

 

Specific Sites:

 

On Silva Valley Parkway (No. 2347) at its intersection with Appian Way (No. 2585)/Charter Way (No. 2639) stopping the north and southbound lanes creating an "All-Way Stop". 

 

Action to be taken following Board approval: 

 

Installation of appropriate intersection stop signs by the Department of Transportation.
