The Sheriff's Office is recommending extending the perpetual contract for an additional year.

 

DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND

On January 27, 2015, the Board entered into perpetual Agreement 357-S1511 with Tyler Technologies, Inc. for the purchase of new a Civil Serve Process Softcodes software and for maintenance and support of the software.  The software assists the Civil Unit in managing Civil caseloads and provides the legal documents needed for Civil processes.

 

The perpetual agreement with Tyler Technology, Inc. ends on January 26, 2018, and needs to be renewed for another annual term from January 27, 2018 to January 26, 2019. The yearly compensation for the maintenance and support of the agreement is $5,657.

FINANCIAL IMPACT
