Reason for Recommendation:  The Department is recommending Board authorization to submit an amendment and update to the Community Services and Supports (CSS) Plan to reflect programmatic revisions approved in concept during FY 2008-09 budget hearings and to incorporate an increase in the FY2008-09 CSS allocation from the State in the amount of $338,600.
 
The CSS Plan Update has been posted for the required 30-day community review process.    Additional information regarding the plan update and amendment is attached and on file with the Board Clerk.
 
Action to be taken following Board approval:  Health Services Department will submit plan update and amendment to the State Department of Mental Health.
