Background: In October 2007, your Board approved Agreement #117-S0811 with Tri-Signal Integration, Inc for the "as needed" maintenance and repair, annual testing, inspection and monthly preventive maintenance of the Fire Alarm Systems, CCTV Camera Intercom and Electronic Door Control Systems at the South Lake Tahoe Jail and the South Lake Tahoe Juvenile Treatment Center.
Reason for Recommendation: At the Auditor's request, this agreement was amended to add the wording "or any other additional required improvements/additions as needed" to clarify any possible invoicing issues that may arise in the future. The Auditor was unable to determine if the invoicing was in accordance with the terms and conditions of the agreement. The change in the wording in the scope of service will clarify this issue.
Action to be taken following Board approval: The Chair will sign the amendment and Sheriff staff will forward the amendment to the vendor.
