Supervisor Baumann invites representatives from the El Dorado County Sheriff's Department, the California Highway Patrol, the El Dorado County Fire Protection District and the El Dorado County Department of Transportation to provide information to the Board of Supervisors and the residents of El Dorado County on each agency's expectations and preparations for the opening of the Red Hawk Casino.
The Sheriff's Department and the CHP are invited to speak to address traffic circulation and law enforcement issues; El Dorado County Fire District to address fire prevention/response issues; and DOT to address the history and long-range plans for improvements to Highway 50 as they relate to the Casino and recently constructed interchange in Shingle Springs.
