Supervisor Sweeney  recommending Chairman be authorized to sign Facilities Use Agreement 332-O0711 with the El Dorado Rod & Gun Club Inc. for a three-year term to continue the use of a 40-acre portion of County property on Union Mine Road.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: Approve.

Reason for Recommendation: The El Dorado Rod & Gun Club ("Party") has been allowed to use a 40-acre portion of County property (Assessor's Parcel Number 92-010-27) since 1996 as a rifle, pistol, archery, and shotgun range.  The property is utilized regularly by State, Federal and Local law enforcement agencies for firearms training and proficiency programs.  The term of this agreement is for three years and will allow the party to continue to offer vital services to local law enforcement agencies.
 
Action to Be Taken Following Board Approval: Chairman to execute Agreement and Clerk of the Board to obtain signature from the Rod & Gun Club. Clerk of the Board to forward fully executed copies to the Rod & Gun Club, El Dorado County General Services Department and El Dorado County Sheriff's Department.
