The cost to install "NO PARKING" signs on Virada Road is estimated at $300.00.  Funding for the installation of signs is available in the fiscal year 2008/2009 Road Fund budget.

District/Supervisor:  District 4/Supervisor Briggs.

Reason for Recommendation:  Resolution No. 252-81 established parking restrictions pursuant to Section 10.12.010, of the El Dorado County Ordinance Code.  On November 19, 2008, the Traffic Advisory Committee on the West Slope recommended the addition of parking restrictions on the north side of Virada Road between Camerado Drive and Perlett Drive.  The proposed Resolution amends Resolution No 252-81 adding the parking restrictions as recommended by the Traffic Advisory Committee.

Action to be taken following Board approval:  The Clerk of the Board will return a signed copy of the Resolution to the Department of Transportation.  The Department of Transportation will install "NO PARKING" signs.
