DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND

On September 26, 2017 (Item 26) the Board adopted Resolution 145-2017 adopting the County Budget.  The Resolution incorporated the Fiscal Year 2017/2018 Senate Bill 1 (SB 1) - Road Maintenance and Rehabilitation Account (RMRA) Project List.  On March 21, 2018 the California Transportation Commission (CTC) released it's new online tool that cities and counties are required to use to submit Fiscal Year 2018-2019 SB 1 project lists.  Cities and counties can no longer adopt their SB 1 Project lists through their budgets.  Project lists can only be adopted by passing a resolution.  Cities and counties must submit their adopted resolutions to the CTC by May 1, 2018.
