Fiscal Impact/Change to Net County Cost:
Funding for this Agreement is provided by HBP grant funds with the local match from RSTP funds which have been included in the Project’s work program for FY 08/09 and and the proposed work program for FY 09/10, identified as Project #77116. There is no net cost to the County General Fund associated with this agenda item.
Reason for Recommendation:
The Department of Transportation (Department) requested the Procurement and Contracts Division conduct a Request for Proposals (RFP) process to select a qualified consultant to produce the Feasibility Study Report for Bucks Bar Road at the North Fork Cosumnes River-Bridge Rehabilitation Project (Project) in October 2008. The Department utilized this RFP process and selected Dokken Engineering, Inc.
The Department intends to design and construct bridge and roadway improvements at the bridge on Bucks Bar Road at the crossing of the North Fork of the Cosumnes River; widening or replacing the existing bridge.
