Recorder-Clerk-Registrar of Voters, Elections Division, recommending the Board declare the results of the official canvass of the May 5, 2009 Showcase Ranches Community Services District Special Mailed Balllot Election conducted by the Recorder-Clerk-Registrar of Voters.
Fiscal Impact/Change to Net County Cost: District will be billed for costs incurred to administer the election. The Elections Department will be reimbursed by said district.

Background: The results of the votes cast at the special mailed ballot election held May 5, 2009, were certified by the Recorder-Clerk-Registrar of Voters on May 6, 2009, and are submitted herewith. Showcase Ranches Community Services District Measure A did not pass.
Reason for Recommendation: Elections Code section 154000 states that the governing Board shall declare the results of each election held under its jurisdiction.
Action to be taken following Board approval: Elections Department will receive and file.
