Community Development Services, Department of Transportation, recommending the Board approve and authorize the Chair to sign Resolution 211-2018 sanctioning the revision to the parking prohibited zones and signage for Hacienda Road, as follows:
Add "No Parking Anytime" on the northerly side of Hacienda Road for one hundred ninety (190) feet from Cameron Park Drive (No. 200) and "No Parking Anytime" on Hacienda Road for one hundred thirty-five (135) feet on the southerly side from Cameron Park Drive (No. 200)."

DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
Community Development Services, Department of Transportation (Transportation) conducted a No Parking Survey (Survey) for the vicinity of Hacienda Road (No. 203) from Cameron Park Drive (No. 200) to one hundred ninety (190) feet east of Cameron Park Drive on Hacienda Road. The scope of the Survey was to determine if parking restrictions in the vicinity of Hacienda Road and Cameron Park Drive are warranted and are in the best interest of public safety.
The Survey concluded that there is an overall road width of thirty (30) feet of relatively straight road. However, numerous vehicles parked along Hacienda Road did impede traffic flow at the dog park encroachment on Hacienda Road and at the Hacienda Road encroachment at Cameron Park Drive.
The Survey has found the requirement of seven (7) "No Parking Anytime" signs on Hacienda Road from Cameron Park Drive to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints driveway to be necessary to better improve visibility and safety.
The following recommendations were approved by the West Slope Traffic Advisory Committee (TAC) at a meeting held in Placerville on July 18, 2018:
Add:
"(h) Hacienda Road (No.203) "No Parking Anytime" on the northerly side of Hacienda Road for 190 feet from Cameron Park Drive (No. 200) and "No Parking Anytime" on Hacienda Road for 135 feet on the southerly side from Cameron Park Drive (No. 200)."
