Department of Agriculture requesting the Agricultural Commission set a list of priorities for the newly established Conservation Easement Program:
1. Development of Agricultural Conservation Easement program utilizing outside private organizations to hold funds.
2. Set up and monitor agricultural conservation easements and enforce the easements.
BOS approval to move forward with developing a program and ordinance was discussed 12/12/18 with a request from the Agricultural Commission to continue this item to 1/9/19, 3/13/19, and 4/10/19.
