DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
With the implementation of a new payroll system, the FENIX Executive Sponsors have created a Time Entry and Alternative Work Schedule Policy in support of the Good Governance Strategic Plan. The new policy provides clear direction to County employees ensuring Fair Labor Standard Act (FLSA) rules are adhered to.
ALTERNATIVES
The Board could choose not to approve the policy which will result in not having written guidelines regarding time entry and alternative work schedules.
