DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
The “Alpha Test Program Agreement” authorized the Probation Department to assist with the development of a new software interface with existing Probation data systems for an end user environment in a prerelease software titled as the “Compliance Platform.” Since the agreement includes restrictions prohibiting disclosure of proprietary technology, only enough information is being provided to the Probation Department to act as an “Alpha Test Site.” Also, included in the agreement is financial consideration for future subscription to software platform that will be available to the public market after the expiration of the “Alpha Test Program Agreement.”

Alcohol Monitoring Systems, Inc. (AMS) is developing a software platform known as the “Compliance Platform” to interface with already existing Probation Department data information systems to assist the Probation Department with supervising probationers and post-release supervision clientele in a more effective manner.
