Clerk of the Board recommending the Board approve the extension of terms for current members of the El Dorado County Child Abuse Prevention Council to coincide with their adopted bylaws which state the two-year terms shall be from July 1st to June 30th.

DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
In support of Good Governance Objective 2.3 - Best Practices relative to boards, committees, and commissions, staff identified an inconsistent pattern of the term dates for members of the El Dorado County Child Abuse Prevention Council and herewith seeks to realign the terms of current members to coincide with the Council's bylaws. Upon approval, the term ending dates for all current members will be reset to June 30th of the respective year.

The Board may choose to direct staff to take other action, up to and including providing direction to the Council as may be needed.
