DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
On January 15, 2019 the Board of Supervisors approved Agreement #3593, effective January 29, 2019, with SirsiDynix Corporation for five years to provide software licenses, subscriptions and maintenance for library operations. Agreement #3593 included a multi-functional mobile app, BlueCloud Mobile, to work across multiple devices. New apps that are specifically created for individual libraries require developer accounts and an Apple Developer Agreement before the app can be created and delivered for use by library staff and patrons. Amendment I to Agreement #3593 will indemnify the County for any violation of the Apple agreement by SirsiDynix or a third party working on their behalf.
